I am a writer, multimedia storyteller, singer and public speaker.
Since I was a little girl I’ve used my voice to tell stories that matter and I continue to work hard for opportunities to do just that.
Currently, I’m a Communications Assistant for U of T Scarborough Library and before that, I was a News & Media Assistant for U of T Scarborough’s Communications & Public Affairs. I reported on campus news, research and pitch stories to news organizations around the world.
For two years I was a content contributor at U of T’s Knowledge Media Design Institute (KMDI). I wrote stories, took photos, and created video content to tell the stories of KMDI — stories that centred inspirational research, student accomplishments and upcoming events.
While working for KMDI, I also worked at community/college newspaper Toronto Observer. At the Observer, I wrote columns, feature stories and editorials. My love for television storytelling grew in my opportunities to anchor and report for Observer TV News and by volunteering at Rogers TV.
I have been part of many multi-media projects and I continue to hone my skills with new and old tools.
When not discussing current affairs or theology with friends, you’re most likely to find me online discussing my favourite comic-book TV shows or fandom culture.
